I think the best Chocolate Chip cookie I have ever tasted in my life is my Grandma K's. She would always have a supply on hand in her cookie jar. I think she had to make a double batch every week....if not every week it would be every other week. I remember being a young girl over there 'helping' her to make them. I was able to mix the batter until she added the last cup of flour. Then it was near impossible to mix. She would take the spoon from me and mix it up without any problem at all. Then she would mix the chocolate chips in. When the chocolate chips hit the batter it was a good feeling and a bad one at the same time. It was good in the sense that I couldn't believe she could mix that batter again and the cookies were that much closer to being completed. It was bad in the sense that I would have rather eaten the batter raw without the chocolate chips in there. See, I don't care for chocolate much.
But, what I wouldn't do to eat Grandmas Chocolate Chip cookies again. I miss your strength and love Grandma!
